Seal Tuff Asphalt Equipment - Tim Trost has lied to me and cheated me out of over $3,000 ripoff Pontiac, Illinois
I place an order with Seal Tuff Asphalt Seal Coating Equipment out of Pontiac, IL in early Oct. of 2006. My order consisted of a 560 gallon seal coat tank, a material pump, and a brush box. Tim Trost the owner told me that if I sent him a cashiers check via UPS he would have my in California at my place of business by Oct. 20, 2006.
After numerous phone calls I finally picked up the tank the first part of Dec. Tim Trost did not crate the tank, and upon picking it up I discovered that the tank had been damaged beyond repair. Tim Trost ensured that me that I would reembursed for the damages. Today is March 1, 2007 and I still have gotten a dime from Tim. Not to mention he never sent the material pump, or brush box.
Every time I call Seal Tuff all I get is an answering machine. Tim never calls me back. The only time I have been able to get Tim Trost to call me back is when I called the local police, and looked up his Mother, and called her.
If the thought has crossed your mind to do business with Tim Trost from Seal Tuff be carful. He nothing but, a CROOK, looking to cheat the next innocent hard working person.

I am the party who sold Greg Cruse this equipment. Yes I admit we get behind on orders at times, but most aqusations by Greg are false.
Mr. Cruse ordered an asphalt tank with pump off my co. we shipped him an asphalt tank thru central transport freight co.
Greg called stating there was some damage, 2 broken welds and a bent leg on tank while it was in transit. I told him the shipping co. would come and look at the tank, I told Greg to tell the shipping co. the tank was worth $2200.00, but Greg told them it was worth$3200.00which was a lie. The shipping co. went and assesed the damage at$90 and sent Greg a check for damage.
Greg called and said he would rather have a refund,I told Greg we would have our shipping co. pick up the tank at our expense. When we receive the tank I would refund him his money, but Greg refused, to send tank. Greg wanted us to send him his check first then he would send the tank, but I explained to Greg I could not do that.
So Greg and I dicussed this matter via email only due to his harrassing phone calls. As forthe pump and brush box he has been sent a cashiers check in the amount of $1000.00 the tank value is $2200.00 We are no longer offering a refund on this tank, but we will pay for any damages to be repaired at a shop in his area with 3 estimates.
Greg if we were ripoffs why would we of sent you a $2200 tank and $1000.00 cashiers check which we have proof of. Thank you for your time
