First of all make sure you never throw out the green cards that are attached to a mattress! I did and here is my story:

My husband and I bought a Stearns and Foster Karissa king size mattress in October, 2012 to go in our newly remodeled master bedroom. Within six weeks, there was a divot where each of us sleep and a mound between us. I only weigh 100 pounds so there is no way I created a divot in a mattress in six weeks. I called Sealy and was directed to the store where we purchased it (Dania Furniture in Lynnwood, WA). They tried to direct me back to Sealy. They werent even aware that they were supposed to send a rep until I told them.

The rep from Dania came out and measured our divots and determined that neither divot was deep enough to warrant a mattress replacement. There was nothing further he could do. Sealy wouldnt help me because I no longer had the cards with the model and serial numbers attached. It doesnt seem to matter to anyone that I still have all of my receipts.

Out of desparation my husband and I just purchased a new bed from a different company, but I have decided that Sealy should take this mattress back and pay me for it seeing as it is only six months old and would be fully under warranty if I had kept those blasted cards.

My warning to any individuals reading this is Sealy is very difficult to deal with and their website and phone bank for filing a complaint are difficult to navigate without the serial number and model number of your mattress.
