On May 11, 2004, my boyfriend and I used our tax refunds to purchase a new couch and tables from Seamans furniture store. The salesperson offered the extended fabric warranty for our microfiber couch. She stated that we would be covered for 5 years for ANYTHING (including stains and/or tears). We now have a stain and "Stainsafe" (the irony of it all) refuses to even come to my house to take a look. Seamans has dropped their affiliation with Stainsafe and is now with another company (Guardsman). They (Seamans) REFUSE to transfer my warranty to the other company (even though my purchase was only 4 months ago!! They are telling me via email that there is nothing that can be done. They must be in the business of ABANDONING their customers AFTER they receive payment. We feel scammed! They should be ashamed of themselves.
