Sears and roebucks ripoff abused & mistreated newington and danbury Connecticut
Being employeed by this company is about the most educated way a person can learn how to abuse their employees. Service people are told to do the job or hand in the keys even after they have been approved for NO over time for personnal matters . (anniversay--family re-uions)
Sales personell in the stores are told to work before hours and after hours with NO-PAY!! Commissions are taken back from the salesperson even 6 months to years after purchases. The co-pany infatates Uion meetings and the attempts to organize.
This company is not about the legal right to work it is more about the ways and means to steal from the employee. If Mr. Lacy even thinks he has a case against me slanding the company let him write back an d treaten me and as he knows the State of New Jersey employees have now got a case action case against them and it will follow Nation wide.
People of the United States stand up for your fellow citizens and protest the shopping of these stores!!

Sears doesn't discriminate against who they cheat, lie to or rip off. Customers, employees....

contractors, installers and whoever else Sears can spam are all fair game.
Sears capitalizes by overcharging its customers for inferior product and service, underpaying installers/contractors, and hitting its sales consultants with anything possible to chip away at their commission for the sale. Sears feeds off its customers, employees and contractors.

Im not sure how it was when this started, but im a current associate, and no we are not compensated for the any meeting we attend before the store open, no average of sales, no training pay, no anything. They are more concerned about us selling warranties than actually pleasing the customer. Ive been told not to try to upsell people to items that are covered under the manufactures warranty. "If they are looking at this one, try to sell them this and the warranty, dont try to up sell them." thats straight from the store manager. I have also been told to only offer the customer the most expensive warranty, "Tell them about the 5-year, and if they dont want that then tell them about the 3-year." again from the STORE manager mind you.

I can totally back the comments made my Michael from Fort Collins. And frankly, I think it's safe to assume that Al was canned because he is not educated enough to spell or use grammer correctly.

Some of what you say is true. however, commision associates only lose sales up to 6 months that is sears policy. The associates are asked to come in early and stay late but they do get paid. As soon as you clock in you get paid if your an non commision associate you get paid your normal pay, If your commision associate what you earn in commision for the whole day is average in to that time you come in early or stay late. And if you have to come in for a meeting you are paid for training. So it is not as bas as you're making it.
I would like to know what your class action law suite is about thanks fellow sears associate
