In October, 2003, Sears did a full front end evaluation on my 1997 Ford Conversion Van. They replaced the front ball joints, brake pads, mounted and balanced new tires, and did a front end alignment.

On February 7, 2004, we brought it back to them for a break evaluation (heard grinding). I told them if the spindal was bad to replace it. They replaced the non-drivers side front inner and outer bearings and seal. They said the spindal was fine.

On February 11, 2004 we brought the van back to them twice saying we heard grinding again and the brake pedal was stiff. Both times they said nothing was wrong.

On February 12, 2004, we brought the van back to them and said something was not right. Three people checked it out and said there was nothing wrong.

On May 8, 2004, while traveling on a highway, the right front wheel just about came off. The cotter pin, nut, washer, and wheel bearing were gone, and the only thing holding the wheel on was a twisted roter. We had to have the van towed, and the service station had to replace the spindle, rotor, bearings, and brake pads.
