Sears Canada Buy out offer on treadmill Surrey British Columbia
SEARS treadmill repair decided that my treadmill under a maintenance agreement was unrepairable after 5 service calls and $800 of parts mostly to fix problems they created by their incorrect wiring on 6 circuit boards. They refunded me the balance of my maintenance agreement and said I would receive a buyout offer. At that time the only outstanding issue was a new problem with the slope adjustment.
After many phone calls over a 3 week period I was told the treadmill had no value due to it's age. I asked them to return the treadmill and I could live with the outstanding problem. They could not locate my treadmill and offer me $100 which I reluctantly accepted.
My complaint is that from early June to Sept. I had no treadmill and had to put up with long delays for 5 service calls and multiple mis-imformation before being told that my tredmill was worth nothing due to each age. Why did they solict and extention to my service ageement if it was too old ? Nice people but terrible service.
