Online order from hades!!!!

 

On September 7, 2013 I placed an online order for applicances with sears.com. These were going to be  replacing my old stove, refrigerator, dishwasher microwave and range hood.  This ordering on line took up a lot of my time due to measuring and so forth.  When I finally finished with my order and paid with my credit card I was so excited about getting new appliances for my kitchen. since my refrigerator is about 20 yrs old as well as the stove and dishwasher and microwave.

Within less thatn 5 mins I get an email stating that the dishwasher was out of stock but the other items were in process. No problem .....I thought ... I will just pick out another one to go with that order.  

I called the customer service number and gave them my order number and explained what was going on and that I needed to order another  dishwasher since the one that I picked out earlier was out of stock according to the email. No problem...I thought... So we proceeded with the dishwasher that I picked out... That customer service rep assured me that this order would be combined with the other applicances and installed same day as the other appliances....

Less than 10 mins later I get another email that states all of the applicances that I picked out and paid for were out of stock.. except the microwave oven and that was due to be shippped on Sept 9th.  

I called customer service back and explained that I did not want any of the applicances except the microwave. They assured me all orders were canceled and I would only be charged for the microwave oven. Not true...I called my bank to find out my card had been charged for the dishwasher and also a delivery charge --this was  also pending transaction for $2942. 

I contacted sear.com by phone to ask that they refund my card back for the dishwasher since I canceled  and to also remove the pending charges. Customer service on line solutions assured me 7-10 business days those pending charges would be removed.

My bank said all sears.com had to do was fax that info to them and I told sear.com this info and they said they could not do that. I finally had to do a charge back with my bank for the dishwasher  transactions. Sears.com would not credit my card after they told me they would. 

As for the pending charges ...todays date  is September 27, 2013 and the pending charges for over $2000 are still pending tying up my credit and preventing me from purchasing applicances that I was so looking forward to getting. 

Believe me I have many documents that I have printed in my possession pertaining to customer service assuring me that my card would not be charged. And also the pending charges would be removed

I even got a call from an installer that wanted to deliver the dishwasher and install it after I had already canceled the order. I explained to him what was going on and He said believe me I hear it all the time. 

 

I had thought about starting the ordering process over but going to a Sears store this time. But,  my hands were tied due to no credit available with this mess. And I do mean mess.

I read that Sears appliances sales KENMORE were on the down hill.. I now know why. With customer service telling customers one lie after another and holding credit card line of credit.

 

Please do not make the same mistake I did. Do not use sears.com to place an order. They simply do not care.

This has caused a tremendous amount of stress. I have made several calles to get this resolved to no avail.
