I have tried for more than three months to get Sears Protection to perform their obligations under a valid Master Protection Agreement. They have tried evry artifice they can find to avoid settling my claim.
Sears designed and installed a new gas boiler in my bulding. When the boiler failed they first tried to deny coverage because it wasnt a Craftsman boiler, even though the specified the boiler to be installed, and even though the Master Proetction Agreeement specified a Dunkirm Boiler. After great pressure they accepted responsibility.
They sent out a tecnician who confirmed the boiler needed to be replaced and who provided them with the costs of the full job. Sears called me to confirm that the repairs were authorized as long as I agreed to pay for some wiring which I did agree to (and providedd credit card details).
Three weeks later no authorization has been given for the work. And I am now told they have to reconsider the costs and possibly send out a new technician. I have spent hours, and made dozens of calls which inevitably end with them saying another department needs to be contacted.
As far as I am concerned this is an enterprise designed to fail to deliver the services that they purport to offer.
