Sears Master Protection Agreement Services My tv went out for the second time in 6mths now the parts are in backorder til 12/31/07 was supposed to be fixed on 12/07/07 I had to wait last time 3 weeks. Tyler Texas

On 11/29/05 i purched a 52" lcd rear projection tv from sears, on 12/29/05 it was delivered to my home. The tv had a problem with it so i contacted sears and they told me that they would take it back and send me another one.The original tv was a 52" toshiba but they sent me a hitachi 50" tv which at that time i was satisfied with the difference. On May 2007 the tv went out so i called for it to be repaired, the tv lamp went out so they ordered the part which took 3 weeks before it was repaired in the mean time i had no tv.

Now the optical block assy/engine is gone out, i called them on 11/19/07 and the repairman came out on 11/26/07 he determined what the problem was and ordered the part, i was told that the part would come directly to my house and he would return on 12/07/07 to make the repairs, but in the mean time i get a call from service department stating that the part is now on backorder and to be shipped out on 12/27/07, so i called someone else to find out what was really going on.

After talking to 3 different people in an hours time the suppervisor then tells me that now the backorder date has changed to 12/31/07. I have an exstended warrant on my tv until 12/19/2010 and i'm still paying for my tv. Can someone please help me?

Under the Master Protection agreement it is stated if you have three (3) or more problems we (Sears) will exchange the faulty product for one comprable in features free of charge. I would call 1800-469-4663 and state that you have a lemon and it should be replaced. Usually when you have alot of problems with your product we just replace it... cause thats what I do. Talk to what the call the Brand Central Manager of the store then talk to the Store Coach and they should figure something out.
