We ordered appliance from Sears. The stove was delivered damaged, and the driver insisted that he could install it. He wanted to install it so we would not see the damage or that the correct installation person who was scheduled to install it would see the damage also.

When he connected the stove the flames went up over 2 feet, he suggested that I should not turn the valve on completely He did not know he had to convert the stove from natural gas to propane. I insisted that he left the house and I insisted that the correct installer would take care of the installation.

Note: I was told by sears that there was an installation fee. Of which I agreed. I believe the price was about $150.00, to which I agreed. The drive said he would charge $80.00. Since the drive said he could do it I would save money, and time waiting for the correct installer I also found out the drive was not licensed to install gas stoves. If a stove is incorrectly connected and your house burns down, because of incorrect plumbing, "YOU ARE NOT INSURED.

When the correct installer arrived, he wanted to know why we were installing a damaged stove. Also wanted to know why the driver wanted to install it. I have names \ contacts and phone numbers of the company who shipped it, they are in the process of investigation the issue with one of their drivers.
