Sears Pen Shopping Center St. Catherines still owes me a/c cover been 3 months St Catherines Ontario
Purchased a Central A/C on February 9th 2008 and I told the Hvac Equipment Consultant Greg Reid to add in a cover for my A/C.
I never received my cover and started calling him about 2-3 weeks ago. Greg Reid promised a couple of times he would come over and drop it off but never did.
Last week I decided enough was enough and took matters into my own hands and went to the Sears Home Central located at 221 Glendale Avenue in St. Catherines Ontario and spoke on the phone with Judy Dion (Installation) very rude person and told her what was going on, She said to me it happens that the Sales Representative forgets to deliver the A/C Cover, I replied to her its been (3) three months and a cover is supose to be used in the winter time not the summer time and told her get me my cover by any means I have been patient enough!!!
On Friday May 23rd 2008 Greg Reid called me and gave me the sober story that he was in the process of moving and that he would be by on Sunday and to wait for him that he would be by to drop off the cover (in my head I am thinking three months to move).
Well Sunday May 25th 2008 came around got up early thinking he would be here stayed home all day guesse what??? he never showed up or called.
So Monday May 26th 2008 I decided to get a hold of the head office and tell them what the hell is going on (they were surprised) that I waited long for the cover and they said they would get the store manager to call me. That same day I called and spoke to the acting store manager Kevid Dyson and told him my story he was very surprised about the incident, and offered to speak with the District Manager John Grace and tell him what is going on.
Monday May 26th 2008 I listen to a message that Judy Dion from Sears Home Central at phone number 905-641-9351 (she called at 4:25 pm) stating that the Greg Reids Manager was going to drop off my a/c cover on May 28th 2008 in the morning before going into work /afterwork.
I decided to contact her back (that same night) at (905) 641-9351 and left her a message stating I don't have time to wait around again and want to go and pick it up on Tuesday 27th 2008 and to please confirm with me a time I can do that.
Received a phone call from Judy Dion at 8:34 am from (905) 641-9351 asking me what time I want to be by to pick up the a/c cover I told her around noon, I also metioned to her that the Head Office will make a investigation to find out what went wrong Judy Dion laughed and said the investigation will show that Greg Reid had in his car (trunk) for almost 3 months but never got around to drop it off for you and it happens. I told her ya it sure happens but not for 3 months.
Please people do not purchase anything from Sears think twice before you purchase anything from this Store!!!!
Lets see if Sears answers to this ripoff and appologizes in writting ....
