My husband, and I bought a very expensive washer and dryer set from Sears.We purchased an extended warranty.

Approximately 6 weeks ago we noticed a problem with our washer. We contacted Sears and they came to our house. The service technician was unable to fix the problem because the part was not in stock. "Just-in-time" stocking rears it's ugly head again. The part came two weeks later and the technician came out again. He "fixed" the problem and left. After six loads of wash the basement was flooded. The exact part repaired was broken again.

Another two week wait! But, wait we received a phone call last night, February 28 2007, the technician is off sick and nobody can come until Monday March 5th 2007.

We have not had a functioning washing machine for 6 weeks. We have two children, pets and very physically demanding jobs. We neeeeed to wash our clothes and the laundromat is getting expensive.
