April 13, 2012 googled to www.searsoutlet.com for a Sealy queen split foundation original price 440$/pair now on sale for 220$. Went to store and ordered using debit card - salescheck #032859029508 - clearly marked 50% off (debit card was charged 220$). Went to SLS outlet (Sears Holding Corp) in Kingston NH to take delivery several days later. Sears shipped only 1/2 of foundation pair. Was told by shipping at SLS this sometimes happens and that they would rectify. After checking several times in person was told that the store had ordered only half the pair! Who in their right mind orders half a split foundation???? I contacted the store - in reference to a staff person named 'Kevin' in person wanting to know why I had not received a pair (the single one was left at the store to make sure a full pair was recorded). I was told that since the sale no longer applied I would have to pay an 'adjustment amount'. At that point I indicated that I wanted to cancel and that I wanted my money back either in cash or a validated debit card refund. I was told that such a transaction required a managers review and that a manager would be in sometime during the week. I have no bed and no refund as of yet.  This is not the Sears I grew up having dealings with! I am sorely disappointed both with logistics, staff, and especially with what I consider to be bait and switch on-line advertising.
