Seatemp.com, L.E.H. Seatemp ripoff this company took my money then didn't send the boat part I've called repeatedly to get them to return my money but they just keep shining me on they are rude and duplicitous Ocean, Tuckerton, Beach Haven New Jersey

I ordered a stator for an outbaord motor from Seatemp over the phone using my visa backed debit card. They told me they had the part in stock ,and would ship it out that same day. Expect it's arrival in two to three days. When it still hadn't arrived in five days, I called them back to see what the holdup was. I was told that my card was denied, and the part was never shipped.

Before I called them back, I had checked my account with my online banking, and the charge was all ready on my account. I told them this over the phone, and they asked me to fax them the information off of the bank statement and they would place the money back in my account. I don't have a fax, so I copied all the pertinent information to an email and sent it to them. I then called them on the phone and gave tehm all the information over the phone as well. I was told the money would be back in my account by noon that day.

Well, this was two weeks ago. I have continued calling them and sending them emails, and they still keep telling me it has been done, but still no money has been returned to me. When I called in this Monday (May2) I was told that they had taken care of the matter on Friday would I please give it until the end of business that day for it to show up in my account. Guess what? STILL no money returned to my account!

These peoole lie without any regard for the fact that you KNOW they are lying to you! They are rude, and very unprofessional. I will tell anyone and everyone who asks that they should not attempt to do any business with this company.

Consumer organzation are great tools but this site is a joke. To post false alegations so quickly is a rush to jugdement policy. In this case the customer within 3 days of the original transaction was able to post negative information. And the sad part is we didn't find out until May 31, 2005. Why weren't we informed? And what information/ paper work was provided to justify this alegations. The fact is the customer made an order to purcahse the part and after the order was made she called back and wanted it over night. We ship all parts 2/3 day prioty mail and since the order was not going to arive when she wanted it, we canceled the order and let her buy it locally and refunded her money. Refunds do not show up immedaitly in your account. Any of us that have used paypal knows it take 2/4 days for a deposit to show up in our checking acccount. The real question should be, Why is this?! When we make a purchase the money comes out of our account right away as a vendor I know the actually money dosen't reach my account for 2/3 bussiness days yet if I make a purchase it comes out right away............why are the banks sitting on our money!
Regarding this web site and this customer we are going to look into legal action here because of the rush to Jugdement Policy. By the way thay are making sign a waiver so I can't suit them to post this message and although I am agreeing to it I really don't mean it. This service is a JOKE!!!
