Seattle Coffee Direct ripoff ad said $9.00 billed $34.00 did not say additional $25 for s/h Evanston Illinois
On Saturday I received survey to choose which of the two brands of chocolate listed were my favorite. I responded and made my choice to receive a reward. BUT then came the pages of the survey after going through them all I realized I had to purchase one of the offers so I picked " SEATTLE COFFEE DIRECT.COM it was for coffee & grinder just $9.00. YEAH RIGHT!
Today (Tuesday 02/20/07) I checked my credit card and it had already been billed for $34.00 from that company. I called the company, and was told that the extras $25.00 was shipping and handling charges...I said that is not on the order form ...was told I should have checked terms of agreement, also not on the order form, please cancel my order..too late it has been shipped.. could not cancel, why not? Sunday & Monday were holidays...I asked what can I do..told refuse delivery..what if the mailman just leaves it in my mail box...answer not much.
