Complaint Review: Seawest Financial - Protfolio Recovery Associates

I bought a Car in Norfolk, Va. From Crown Auto OF Norfolk this was April of 99, I paid until Fed of 2000. The Compnay I bought my Car from was involved with a bunch of Illegal stuff. Putting Cars in Dead and Blind People's names, The Company was then shut down and all cars were REPOED that were sold. I was told if I gave it up willing then I would have no problem, Well I stopped paying on it then I called then to come get it they never came. I moved Told them the new address THE NEVER CAME. They finally went to my fathers house Sept of 2000 and my fahter called me I told the Guy where I was located at he said Ok I am on my way.

He came and got the car. Then I went to buy a house and I CAN'T they are saying I owe 2929.89 to What was Seawest, NOw Portfolio Recovery. The whole thing was to fall off my credit report April of 2007 Well Guess what I got a letter from the new place today 6-11-07. I now live in NC, and I need help. I spoke with someone when appling for the house they said it is illegal for a company to do that but they do it anyways.. I will be contacting him about this to see what I could do.. He said the reason they do it is because NO ONE FIGHTS about it.. So I will be the FIGHTER... I wish this on NO ONE.. ITs too stressful...
