I contacted the number on the "Sweepstakes Bonanza Draw Notification" letter that was supposedly from Enterprise Rent-a-Car telling me to contact Michelle Thomson at (912) 412-2574. Instead of reaching this person, I spoke to a Donna Brown who gave me instructions on what to do to get my official earnings. She told me to go ahead and deposit the $3800.00 cashier's check to pay for the surety bond that was needed to verify the official check. She told me the cost of the surety bond was $29.95 and that the rest was part of my winnings. When I asked her about taxes on the funds, she assured me that since it was a Canadian sweepstakes that I would not have to pay any taxes on this money.

I went ahead and foolishly deposited the money and proceeded to pay some bills that were past due once I knew that the funds were there since I had the money available - or so I thought! I was just about to send the money order that she had instructed me to do to the address she indicated - Michelle Robertson, 3310 Park Avenue, Oakville, ONT M5B3H7 - when I found this web-site with the notice of the scam. My account is now overdrawn with more transactions pending. I am a single mom with enough financial issues withought having to deal with this.

I need help obtaining some justice here!
