This company was recommended to us by another field marketing organization (FMO) company named Magellan (different report will be filed about them). The recommendation states that that company, Secure Financial, LLC, are pioneer in running a turn key workshop to persuade retirees to buy annuity. The story says for $3,500.00 they provide all what is needed to make the workshop a success and room will be full 30-50 prospects.

As soon as we signed in with no guarantee clause in their contract, which was a big mistake from our side, we were asked to find and pay for the conference room to hold the meeting (good buy for a turn key). Then we were asked to bring a lot of other things which was never discussed as part of the deal.

We gladly did alll this with the promise that we will get  anumber of audience sign up. The speaker, who is their guru, lost control of the meeting in the second half by discussing a subject he himslf was fully aware of alll the details which led to many questions from the audience and no real answer from his end. people started leaving and refusing to sign the evaluation/appointment sheet.

Later on I discovered that there was no real person taking the reservation but rather you have to leave your information to a machine whch resulted in many wrong names and addresses. WHen I opend teh subject for discussion even before teh workshop date, many excuses where provided.

In short the close to $3,500.00 fees to them and other close to $500.00 misc. expenses resulted in a big $00.00 revenue.

I discussed that with Mr. Romano the owner and the speaker who promised to call me to discuss and provide some relief which he never kept his word.

The owner and his partner cannot be trusted and their is no business ethics what so ever.

In response to this complaint Secure Financial has done everything that was agreed upon per our agent agreement. As stated in his letter we do not guarantee any results. Results will vary on the quality of the agent working the leads from the workshop. On the issue of reservations we do the mailer of 5,000 pieces the agent is given a dedicated 800# for people to make there reservation to attend the workshop we do field all the phone calls this is not a automated system, we then send out a confirmation reminder for the registration. To the comment that passer by just showed up, unless you received the Invitation you would have no knowledge of the event so that is not possible. I have also attached a email from this individual (agent who wrote the complaint) after the workshop praising the event and thanking us. On the presentation I Mario Romano personally was the speaker and did in no way deviate from the program that I developed nor did anyone from the meeting leave due to any content at the workshop. I have also attached a email from the other speaker which this individual found to speak on legal issues and she states what a wonderful presentation and workshop this was. In conclusion this complaint was written by an individual who did not follow our proven seminar systems and is looking to blame everyone but himself for his lack of work ethic.

This is the email from the individual who put this complaint in:

Thank you for your effort in getting that  workshop to that level. Mario has done a great job that exceeded my expectation. Some of those who registered were no show, however, there was some walk in. Mario and I have some discussion for the follow up strategy, and he recommended that I should use the telephone script you developed.
Thank you.

This is the email from the other speaker that Edward Daoud had at the event:

I was invited by Edward Daoud to speak and attend the seminar Mario Romano did on August 1, 2012.  As a senior myself, I listened as a pre-retiree and I listened as a business development person who works with financial advisors and does seminars.  My portion was just about 20 minutes where Mario had the balance of the two hours. Mario's presentation was energetic, interesting, organized and easy to understand.  The audience was participating and interested.  There were handouts and materials to follow during the seminar and at the end, prospects who wanted further information were invited to fill out a form and Edward would contact them.  Mario gathered all of these and gave them to Edward to follow up.  I'm not sure how many there were but quite a few and the audience seemed pleased and happy that they had attended. Warm Regards,
