Complaint Review: SECURITAS At WORLD KITCHEN CORNING NY

Last year I went to meet my wife at the end of her shift at WORLD KITCHEN. This is a glass factory where dishes are the main focus. It was to be a suprise , my meeting my wife and I was the one who ended up being suprised. As her shift let out , she passed by me and did not see me right there in the open. Just as I stood up to walk towards her, this 20 something year old punk begins to run up to her and throws water on her. I did not like the way his actions towards my wife made me feel so I asked his name and he refused to answer and basically ignored me. I filed a complaint the next day and was asked by a SECURITAS guard to point the individual out. Upon doing so , this dude follows me out of the building to my car and proceeded to make threats to me. I also reported this to the same two guards at that time. The 1st guard was helpful and understanding of the situation. The other was a personal buddie of the "waterboy" .

Two days after I filed my complaint with the HUMAN RESOURCE Mngr. at WORLD KITCHEN, I again was at the site to meet my wife for dinner. Upon arriving the parking lot this "waterboy" runs up to me and begins to throw punches into my car window as well as tell me to get out of my car and blah blah woof woof !You get the picture. My wife took off in our other car which furthered my suspicion and I soon followed her. I was followed by the "waterboy" who had gotten into a co-workers car. They chased me around Corning, NY and at one point I was able to get behind them. We sat at a stop sign in this sleepy little town and I saw one of them get on a cell phone. A few minutes later this mini van roars up behind me and just sits there for 10 seconds. I realized that it was SECURITAS OFFICER Ray Hinkle. He had driven over to this stop sign a mile OFF his job site. I took off and went around "waterboy"s" car. I was chased at high speed by both of these cars all the way to the city police station. I turned into the P.D. but both of them went around front. They kept going and "waterboy" yells from the car window, " come down to my job again M.F. and see what happens !" I told police about this. He said no crime had been commited and that I should contact WORLD KITCHEN H.R. Mngr. LJ FREITAG. I already had and that was why I was chased. My wife says it was innocent and later on another Securitas guard was able to verify that nothing was going on between them so I just accepted that and was able to focus on what I had started before all this and that was to get hired along side my wife. I like money too and because of a felony 12 years ago I am skipped over alot for real jobs etc...I had left a over detailled message with Freitag and let him know of my past failures as well as my desire to never repeat any of those behaviors that led me to the other side of the fence as it were. I stopped in to talk with Freitag one day to update some personal info and to let him know just how thankful I would be if I could just have an interview and be hired so I could see more of my wife. LJ FREITAG and one of his mobsters rushed me out of the building and told me not to come back ! I could not believe this. I had done nothing wrong and yet I was being treated like I just commited the most outragous crime.

A few days later LJ FREITAG sent me a certified letter stating that I would be considered a tresspasser and the local police would be called and I would be arrested if I was on WORLD KITCHEN property. I called FREITAG soon after and appollogized for upsetting him and that I am a peacful person unless I think someone is putting moves on my spouse. I asked FREITAG if this " BAN " would be forever and if I would never be allowed to work there. He said "no it wouldn't be forever and that maybe in the future I could work there. " In september 2008 when all this had gone on , the dude who threw water on her had gotten arrested for things he wrote on the news site TOPIX.net He mentoined my wife's name along with many nasty posts. He lost his freedom and his job. As far as I was concerned the problem had been handled. In october some melting tank ruptured and the plant shut down for repairs. Workers , including my wife were laid off untill March 2009. At which time I began driving my wife to her job as well as picking her up as needed. This went on for over a month without a problem. I also shoot video and work as a news stringer. I had my camera gear set up in the backseat. I had just come from a video shoot and as I was parked out front of WORLD KITCHEN some one went inside and told the guard, RAY HINKLE , that I was filming. I was not.

On the night of April 23, 2009 I pulled up to the front door of WORLD KITCHEN at 10:59 PM. My wife got out at 11:00 PM. All of a sudden this gold jeep roars up in front of my car and slamms on the brakes. I slowly backed up then this person whom I did not know at the time, jerks his jeep in reverse and whips back. I was not sure what or who this was so I floored it forward. The jeep was driven by SECURITAS SECURITY guard BRAD SMALLCOMB. (My wife would later find that out.) I called the SECURITAS headquarters in Apalachin , NY and reported this person. Smallcomb had chased me on a public street and at 50 MPH. The speed limit is 30MPH ! He also caused me to run a stop sign because of the speed. Smallcomb was also in the opposing lane while he chased me.The rep. said Smallcomb would be delt with. He received one day suspension, (i think). Soon after I received a second certified letter from LJ FREITAG. Again he stated that I would be arrested if I was on the property . This time however he added " on or Around" FREITAG has never responded to my requests that he make clear just where WORLD KITHEN property starts and ends. It is on the same public street and there are no clear markings.

One night soon after SECURITAS guard BRAD SMALLCOMB filled a false report and said that he saw me on the property and that I had been told several times by letter ,( TWICE ! ) to stay away. This was signed by city judge DAVID KAHL on May 7, 2009. On May 15, I was waiting at the FREITAG designated spot, (which happens to be a city street, I know because I had to take it upon myself to go to the department of records ay CORNING CITY HALL to find out exactly what WORLD KITCHEN owns and what they DON'T) . I say FREITAG designated spot because he had just met with my wife and in front of a whitness said that Commerce st was sutible. As I waited for her at 2:58 PM the CORNING POLICE roll up on me and ask what I'm doing . I end up being detained in the back of a squd car, handcuffed while the guards , my wife and the police got it straightened out. I was released and told that the LT wasn't going to do anything about it. He thought it was a non issue.
