Securitas Security Wrongful termination Ontario California
On Jan 15, 2015, I was working for the company as security for MWD ( Metropolitan Water District ). On that day, an employee, crashed thru the exit gate and destroyed it and kept driving without stopping. Basically, hit and run. I did not witness the accident.
I called SWC ( security watch command ) to view to tape for more info. They informed me of the person. I called the supervisor, who told me to write a report. Then, after writing the report, I was told that it was 'too detailed' and to destroy it and re write. I did this three times.
A week later, I was transferred to another office. After speaking to the HR person in Temecula, I was told that I would be either supervisor or mgr. Two days later, I was told that my position was terminated for there was no work.
I called West Coast office, only to be lied to and given the run around. 2 months later, they still tell me that there is no work. I asked many times to view the video tape and reports of the accident, but they refused to do so.
Securitas is the WORST company to work for......they lie to you and really dont give a s*** about their employees

Again, never mind not supporting the Dana Farber, the Jimmy Fund & Boston Red Sox, the best thing to do is Do not work for Securitas. If they prefer to teminate employee, because their supervisors are smoking pot & crack on duty and owning a crack house. Not only there is an issue with their drug screening policy, but their is an issue in how the treat there employees if they get teminated for report their employee forrepaorting their supervisors smoking pot & crack on duty & owning crack houses. Stay Away from Securitas.

In my personal aponion Securitas Securitas is still does not like enforcing their drug policy for their security supervisors who smoke pot & crack on duty & owning a crack house. Another reason not to support the Jimmy Fund, Dana Farber & the Boston Red Sox or not to work for Securitas Security. If I had my way they should go out of business not Massachusetts.

I know a Securitas Security Officer who was termenated for reporting his supervisor for smoking pot on duty and was subect to harrassment that resulted in committing a felony. It resulted in him taking up his supervisor bad habits in writing the staff of Eliot Community Human Servicws, Base Flexible Support Program until Hallowwen, Securitas gets sued by Eliot Community Human Services.
In addition, another Securitas employee was also wrongfully termenated for reporting that the same supervisor for smoking crack on duty & owning a crack house at the corner of Emerson & Walnut Streets in Medford near the Medford Police Station.
