I got an email stating my PCI compliance was due and to contact Security Metrics.   I have a web site and PCI compliance is required to keep fraud down on the internet.  Security Metrics represented themselves to  be the company that I dealt with.  I called to do the update and explained that I did not pay for this service as it was part of my deal with the credit card company.  At no time did they let me know they were trying to steal me and had scanned my site and was trying to get me to sign with them.   I call imeadiately told the person I would not pay, went through all the pci compliance and then at the end transfer me to another person who says the first person got it wrong and there is a charge for this service.  At this point it is 15 minutes into the call and I say no I am not paying and call my credit card processor to shew them out for putting me through all this and ready to fire them only to find out Security Metrics was out trolling for customers and that my PCI compliance was up to date.   There is nothing they can do with with the information I gave them but to misrepresent themselves in such a manner is bad for the internet and for the unsuspecting clients.  I realize no one will do a thing about this company and this practice but I wanted to put it out there as a buyer beware.
