Hello All,

I used Security moving (http://www.securitymoving.com/ ) to move all my stuff from New Jersey to North Carolina. I gave the descriptions of all my furniture in my apartment. I was given an estimated cost of $900-$1200. On the day of delivery this cost went up to whooping $ 2300. I was supposed to receive the delivery someday between January 3rd to January 5th. But instead of that I received my stuff on January 13th. 10 days late. I was making at least 10-20 calls every day. Sales lady name Brenda and Dispatch guy name Gregory had no clue what customer service is.

January 2nd (Monday) 2006 : I called in the morning asking for date, they said call back after 3 days.

January 5th (Thursday) 2006 : I called again in the morning, same answer call back later , I called again after few hours, funny answer from them saying your stuff is in Florida and driver stuck there so don't know for the delivery date. That's bullshit answer.

January 6th ( Friday) : I called again, and return answer was we have no clue where the stuff is . Brenda said : Don't call us again and again, and start yelling and saying I have no control over the driver, the traffic or truck. We will do the best we can.

January 9th till 12th : I was calling them again and again to find out the date. Just bullshit answers. Million times I was put on hold forever.

Finally on 12th evening I got call from driver that we are coming, I said thank god someone is there to help us out.

Slept on floor for few days, eating out both times, motel rent (Another 12 days in Motel cost me extra 400 dollars ). Who is going to pay these extra money I spent which I had no plan to spend.

After all the complaints and harassment the company gave me $97 discount. Should I be happy about that??? I don't think so. I had to pay all the money, as I was helpless. My stuff was with them for god knows how many days and they wont bring the stuff into my house until and unless I pay them first. This was my first and last moving with this company and the reason I m writing this is because I don't want any of you to make your moving with this company to begin with.

I am going to file complain on Better business bureau (http://www.bbb.com/ ). Please forward this to all your friends/ family/ co-worker everyone you know. Let them know don't go with this InSecurityMoving Company. Just forward this to as many as people you know, so from now on other people wont get stuck with this low cheap movers.

I would like to state that you have recieved nothing but patience and respect from us while you continue to call me staff names and give them a negative attitude. Something that we have have taken with a grain of salt thru-out your move. You do not have a tariff, you had a contract which stated right on it that delivery would be after 1/03/06. There was no guaranteed delivery date on your contract. By state law we have a tariff which we keep a copy of, for anyone to see. Once again I would like to sate that you signed your contract stating your items were in good condition and recieved in a timely manner. As stated in the last response anyone wishing to see copies of any of the items mentioned above please feel free to call me @ 888-726-6683

Thank You

on tariff it dosent say it will be delivar in 21 days.. Also, when i book i asked 100 times about the delivary date and all response was the day 12/28 we pickup add 7 more days and your luggage will be there. i add double days 14 days and i had to beg to them for the items. I also have the other driver's #. They said they asked them if anything is going down south that time they send the stuff. Otherwise security moving and storage were telling me that your stuff is too small. we cant give you a truck for that. when i pay it was 2200 dollars.. it wasnt small bedroom items.

Peter its better you try hard to solve this kind of problem instead of posting lovey dovey message here. For me , i am done moving and i will make sure if any one is moving anywhere in USA in my family/friends/co-worker. i will tell them dont go to this cheap moving company where their customer service dosent know what they are saying. Lady Brenda...tells me she was sick so she has no clue. guy gregory tells me he dosent understand English. yes sir, ok sir call back sir. read below Peter.. if you understand good customer service then all answers are here for you and other people also.

Although the schedule is not made out for December yet, the movers usually arrive between 9 - 10 am. I can get delivery within 3 days of Jan 2. As discussed the only extra charges you would incur with us is if we had to use any packing materials...boxes, tape, shrink wrap, etc. If you have any other questions please feel free to reach me via e-mail or I can be reached @ 888-726-6683.

Thank You,
Brenda

This is to confirm that you have reserved our relocation services for December 26, 2005. 60% will be due on pick-up - this is payabl;e by check or cash. The other 40% will be due on delivery - that is cash only. Delivery will take 5 - 7 days to NC. You are covered by standard valuation insurance. This covers $.60 per lb up to $3,000.00. You can purchase full replacement insurance thru movinginsurance.com . Our movers will disassemble any furniture that needs and then will reassemble in NC. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact me via e-mail or I can be reached @ 888-726-6683.

I am customer relations for Security Moving and have dealt with the compainant on several occasions. His biggest complaint was the time it took for his delivery. By state law our tariff reads that we have 21 business days to make delivery. He was picked up on 12/28 and he was delivered on 1/12. That was a delivery of 11 business days. Which is only half the time alotted by law. Because we knew he was upset and yelled at our secretary on several occasions although she informed him that she did not handle dispatch or the drivers, we did give him a discount of $97.00 which he accepted by signing the bill of lading. He also agreed that price was correct and that all his belongings were delivered in undamaged condition. If anyone would like to see copies of said documents please feel free to call me 888-726-6683.
Thank You,
