I was working on my computor when a security tool popped up and ran what looked to me like a virus check.  It then stated that i had about a dozen or so viruses and that all my password would be redirected to a different site that wasn't secure.

My first reaction was oh god my computor was hacked.  I tried to "x" out of everything, but it kept popping up.  I tried rebooting, every time the computor came back up or I turned it back on the same things kept popping up.

I then thought this might be legite and paid the $49.95 fee, it then acted like it cleaned out all the viruses.

When my son came home from school, I explained what happend.  Since our children know more about computors than their parents, he found out that it was a scam.  I tried calling the 800 number listed and know answer.

I will contact my bank and see if I can stop the charge.
