Complaint Review: securitysystems.com

I bought the 8 gig pen and it lasted 1 and a half months before it broke and it was replaced even though i was accused of breaking it. The replacement lasted a whole 2 and a half months and i was refused a replacement because they claim their "technician" said the original was attacked by a virus on my computer. I build and repair computers and I can`t even remember the last time I had a virus. The owner of this company is a liar and is very difficult to deal with. 200 dollars for a 10 dollar pen.

I have been in the alarm and surveillance business for over 30 years.  Our e-commerce site operating since 2005 has sold literally thousands of products including to date over 7,000 spy pens. I imagine if you've dealt with tens of thousands of customers you're bound to have some people that you can't please or perhaps unfortunately just dropped the ball. I just noticed this complaint and it conspicuously has no name, just techno geek or something. We have a very clear concise return policy as well as a one year warranty.  Anyone can return any purchase within the first 15 days regardless of the reason for a refund so I find this complaint puzzling. The testimonials on our site are 100% genuine and I challenge ANYONE to listen to these live called in comments and not be 100% convinced they are real and come from people all over the U.S.  They are not solicited and come from customers that are so satisfied that they go back to our site to seek out the testimonial tel. #.  There are dozens from law enforcement and again I challenge ANYONE to listen to these and express doubt they are fake.  As far as we claiming our products are NOT from China.  I find this bizarre because we go to great lengths to Explain that most of our products are INDEED from China. On the links presenting the Spy Pen Our "no name" unhappy past customer purchased is excruciating information regarding our close QC process in BUYING THESE SPY PENS FROM CHINA.  In the "About Us" link there is also details about me the owner being married to a Chinese woman and dealing with her nephew in procurring, sourcing and QC on all our imported products from China.  There is NO mention, suggestion, or even the slightest insinuation that these spy pens are manufactured anywhere BUT CHINA.  Lastly our spy pens are found in 4 models with different modes; $129; $149; $169; & $189.  In closing my rebuttal to this unhappy customer I stand by my opening comments that I have personally dealt with tens of thousands of customers and it is impossible to be in bussiness and not have a complaint.  I (we) have very, very few. A testament on the way I do business. Our unhappy customer also signed his name; Techno Geek.   I am not privay to any of his complaints but tech geeks are typically the hardest customers to please.  Maybe he thought his spy pen was a $15,000.00 professional H.D. camera for network broadcast.   I rebut and have explained all his claims. Our return policy is not as he described it, our testimonials are real and we never made a claim in writing or verbally that the spy pen was made in the U.S.   I'm sorry you(he) is unhappy but again he is techno geek.  Respectively, Bill Mullen   Owner
