Complaint Review: Sedgwick Properties Development Corporation

Attention past, present, and future renters and owners. Sedgwick Development and its owner Marty Paris are the most dishonest horrible developers I have ever seen. They lie to their customers and rip them off. My views are not representative of just one person or one incident - it is everyone that has ever dealt with them in a rental or ownership capacity, except no one is motivated to say or do anything publically bc it will hurt their investment. I purchased a new construction unit from these guys years ago and it took more than double the time they promised and I've had nothing but problems with the product. They do not stand by their work and it is done cheaply.

I sat here years ago reading the reviews from the real estate crash and thought Sedgwick was just like a lot of the other develoopers that went under and they were just a product of the market at that time. Sadly, this is NOT the case. I cannot beleive they are still building and getting away with what they are doing. I had to finish off construction on my unit and basically undo/redo everything at my own cost. Even with my unit finally done, I am still concerned about the building my unit is in. We've already had a lot of problems with the building and I"m hoping my unit isn't affected by the building problems anytime soon - many of my neighbors have had horror stories thus far. I am writing this to hopefully protect anyone in the future from having to deal with this company or people - cannot believe karma has not caught up to this group yet. They should be out of business. Buyer beware.
