Complaint Review: Select Automotive 1000 Nicholas Hart

 After 4 days of purchasing the vehicle, which I was told was in good running condition, it began to shut off while driving. I called the dealer and Nicholas Hart demanded that I return the vehicle and informed me that I was not entitled to my $2000 deposit back. He would not state a reason for not returning my down payment, only stating that the loan he had offered me ( an interest rate of 23.99%) had not been funded by the bank because they couldn't contact my employer by phone to verify employment. However, my employer said they never received a request for employment verification. He had the car towed from my home and is refusing to refund my deposit. I am presently working with an attorney to get my deposit back.
