I responded to an e-mail from scbn because I could not afford my meds I was told they would help they took $50.00 as an "admin" fee then $60.00 for my meds I did every thing they asked. the proscess was slow I contacted them and they said I should get samples from my doctor. It is illegal for dr.s to give samples of narcotics. they led me on saying that my meds would come in the mail. agian this is illegal. as per their instructions I sent them a fax and demanded that my credit card not be charged any more money. the very next day they charged another $60.00 from my card. When I called I was laugh at and told no matter what or who I cantacted I will never see my money agian. They promised everthing and delivered nothing. This company, excuse me, this NON-PROFIT organization needs to be stopped and its CEO's prosecuted. I have researched just a little and found alot of stories just like mine, one person was taken for almost1K this preditory "organization" needs to be stopped. I think a class action suit is called for. I know I am not alone so if anyone has ideas please let me know
thank you

Dear Allen,

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I have spent some time going over your case with our Advocate Team, and I think that you will find the resolution to meet your expectations.

Doctors are usually able to give out samples of medications while we are in the process of sending in the paperwork and waiting during the processing times. This is completely legal, but it is up to whether the doctor has any samples to give. The Patient Assistance Program that provides Oxycontin does ship the drug to the persons' home in 30 day supplies and they have for a long time.

We do regret the experience that you had when you were a member. We are certainly happy to offer you a free month of membership so that you can get the medication that you need. We are confident that in this time period of using your membership, you will not only receive your medications but also be very happy with our ability to assist you in receiving your medications. Please contact me at 512-406-5057 so that we can get you started.

Sincerely,

Brad Williams
