Well after reading the many reports on here about SelectCare Benefits Network, I see that I'm not the only one that lost money and never received any medicine and no refund.

There has to be something that can be done about this. There has to be a lawyer somewhere that will take them on and get us our money back. What they did is theft by deception. That is illegal!

I also got the run around, lied to and was never told about their policies. There is suppose to be a taped conversation I had with the guy who took all my info. But Tim, Supervisor, said the only way I could have that or any other taped conversation with the employees, was to pay $50.00 a piece for the tapes. I'm betting there is no tape and if they produce one, it would be edited to sound like we agreed verbally to their offers. I never signed a thing. I returned their package unopened, thankfully I put a tracking ticket on it, because when I called them back after they received it, I was told that they HADN'T received it. I then told her the time and date it was delivered and who signed for it. She then put me on hold and came back about 5 minutes later and told me it was up in front of the reveiw board and that I would be notified of their decision. Well today I got a letter in the mail stating that they would not refund my $170.00 because of all the time, labor and phone calls to drug companies they made. Which they didn't because I never received any drugs, just withdrawls from my checking account for my 'membership dues'.

Tim called me names 'airhead and dummie' and that it was my own fault and that I should just take my lumps like everyone else. He said he did me a 'favor' by cancelling my membership and that he could still bill me for the remaining monthes, to which I said 'Go ahead, that is grounds for legal action.' I asked if he got that all on tape too and he said 'Shut up, smart a--' He laughed at me and told me how I would never get my money back and that I could file as many reports as I wanted with whoever I wanted, that in Texas, what they did was legal. I highly doubt that.

I HOPE and PRAY that someone soon can do something about this company. The Better Business Bureau has them rated a D and all the complaints are like mine. I also filed a complaint against them with the Attorney General. Now I'm going to case the internet and get the word out every where. They need stopped and anyone that thinks Montell Williams is doing us a favor by pushing them, is just as guilty.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I have spent some time going over your case with our Advocate Team, and I think that you will find the resolution to meet your expectations.

After reviewing your complaint, you continue to claim that you paid for medicine. We are a patient advocacy company that assists you with getting onto Patient Assistance Programs that provide medicine and you pay us membership dues to assist you. If you do not use your membership, the medicine can not arrive and you will not receive the full benefit of the membership that you paid for. You chose to not use your membership and send us all the information filled out as you agreed to do. We would be more than happy to assist you in getting your medications, but you must choose to take advantage of your membership.

We do regret the experience that you had when you were a member. We are certainly happy to offer you a free month of membership so that you can get the medication that you need. We are confident that in this time period of using your membership, you will not only receive your medications but also be very happy with our ability to assist you in receiving your medications. Please contact me at 512-406-5057 so that we can get you started.

Sincerely,

Brad Williams
