According to the marketing and sales materials provided at time of purchase, the customer was to receive plans for small space gardening and one year of monthly mailed seeds. IF there was any statement regarding the company's right to continue charging the customer's credit card after the initial purchase, it was hidden or required consumer investigative digging to be found.

In my experience in sales and marketing, reputable companies send follow-up emails clarifying the terms of agreement regarding any purchase of any kind, this company did not do so or even offer a "for more information about your account" link. I consider this sneaky and deceptive practice.

My understanding of my purchase was for one year only. I did receive seeds monthly for a year as promised. The seeds were mostly viable, however, I consider them overpriced, one would do better to buy heirloom seeds from a reputable, fair price vendor.

I received no email notices that I was in a "recurring subscription" type of contract. I was sold ONE year only. Then my account was suddenly charged for another year without prior notice or request, no email receipt was sent, no communication of any kind. There were never any packing slips in any of the boxes, either.

No one answers the phone number provided on the web site. I have sent an email to the address provided on the web site and am waiting to see if I receive a response.

I am disputing this charge with my bank.
