 In August 2016, I set up a store (Rap-Resources.com) that sold lists to help rap artists in the music business--lists of record labels, bloggers, radio stations, film and TV music supervisors, etc to further artists' careers in the music business. In December 2016, without warning or provocation, Selz took my store offline and kept all of the sales payments due me for that time period. When I complained, they wouldn't even tell me what the problem was. It took detective work to discover that the problem was. Eventually, they told me their bank/merchant account received a complaint of a purchase with a stolen credit card and told them to close my account. When I confronted their merchant account/processor, not only did they NOT tell them to close my account, they invited me to use their company instead (which I now do). Selz ripped me off for the income from the lists I had sold that week/month, kept my money, and destroyed my business by closing my store without notice. I was unable to access any records of past buyers, artwork, or the actual lists. When I read their terms of service, it said NOTHING about closing a store if a customer disputes a payment. Aren't they supposed to protect me from fraudulent cardholders instead of holding me accountable for what a customer does? This company, Selz, is obviously a scam and run by thieves. I recommend Shopify (who processes Selz's orders anyway). I've been with them over 6 months and they are legit.
