Complaint Review: semesy.com

I was googling companies for disount Ipads to sell on Ebay. I came across several companies that had great prices, but was drawn to this particular company that seemed to have even better prices. After comparing Ipads, the titles, descriptions, and even the photos on Ebay were exact to the ones in this company. Thinking I had just finally hit my gold mine, I decided to buy 1 Ipad to see how it all worked. There was one draw back, and of course it was somewhat of a red flag, they didnt accept credit cards, or Paypal, only bank transfer, or western union, shame on me for falling for this. I western unioned the $310 plus cost me $25.00 to send it, as well as a $10 fee from my credit card company, they see this as a cash advance.

I waited awhile and sent them an email for a tracking number, they sent one back to me, and there was nothing. A coouple of days later, the company emailed me saying my ipad was held up in customs, and I would have to pay China tax to get it out. I emailed them back, saying I wasnt responsible for that, they should pay it or send my money back. They kept emailing the same thing..tired of hearing it, I sent mutiple emails saying I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Now I hear nothing from them.

I realize I will probably never see my money again, but wanted to warn others of this scam. In desperation sometimes we do things we otherwise would never do, sending money western union is like sending cash, so shame on me. Dont fall for these companies, any company that is legit will accept credit cards or paypal. I know I am not the only person who has fallen victim to these types of things, I read many blogs online with people who have done the same thing, many differant Chinese companies. I have learned a lesson and just wanted to spare others of this scam....please be careful...
