Senior Marketing BUYER BEWARE- SENIOR MARKETING AND ITS OWNER, JENNIFER OPRA WILL RIP YOU OFF!! Allen, Texas
I, like most insurance professionals who have used or considered this company, found Senior Marketing online and was looking for a marketing company to enhance sales of my insurance products. I called the 800 number and spoke to a Jennifer "Lawrence" (as I will describe in this report, I learned later that even her name is a lie), who outlined her program to me, and explained that the first payment would have to be in the form of a check. This raised a red flag for me, and I openly questioned it, but my trust (and ultimately, stupidity) led me to send her a check for her services.
I went on these "appointments" this company provided me, and every person I saw was either unqualified, based on the criteria both myself and the "marketing company" agreed upon, they did not know why I was there, or was told they could not even understand what the telemarketer was saying when they were contacted.
I called Ms. "Lawrence", got her voice mail, and when she called back, my caller ID read "Jennifer Opra". I Googled her and she, in fact, is listed as the Owner of this outfit. In any event, I complained about the quality of the leads and was assured that the problem was being looked into, and I was to receive a tape of the calls, credit for the bad leads (which were all of them), and that the next day's leads would be better. None of this occured! In fact, the next day's appointments were even worse.
For all you consumers that were also victims of Senior Marketing, be advised that Jennifer Opra took your check instead of a credit card because it is much harder to dispute. However, go to you bank and get a copy of the cancelled check for future reference. I, for one, am going to the BBB, for openers. Then I'm going to the Attorney General's office of the State of Texas and have them investigate Opra and her fraudulant business practices. And, of course, I will be reporting my experience with her and her company to every online outlet I can. People and companies like this should not be permitted to operate. What I lost was nominal, but people who are trying to make an honest living should not be scammed out of their hard earned money.
Again, for my fellow victims, the company owner's name is Jennifer Opra. Spread the word!
Jennifer, it's been three weeks. Where are my credits? How about the recorded calls??
