Complaint Review: Senior Soul Mates. com

Senior Soul Mates. com Our Time This company falsely represents the payment arrangement to join. They advertise that it will be $10 month and you and you can cancel at any time. They are full of scammers that contact you from Nigeria and other places. No security filters at all. Then you call to cancel and they tell you the payment is NON REFUNDABLE. This is clearly a scam. No other site makes you pay for something you can't use. Now I've paid them $119.95 to SCAM other unsuspecting people. Their call center is operated by foreigners who barely speak English. They are rude and blame the consumer. Miami Beach Florida

I wanted to join Our Time and kept getting directed over to Senior Soulmates.com.  I signed up for free and then could only see limited information.  Pretty useless.  So I decided to join since they advertised it was only $10 /month and you could cancel at any time.  I go online and get my messages.  Well I've been scammed before on Match.com and start to receive familiar "messages".  I continue and realize 3 of the message are from scammers like from Nigeria.  I report them and get limited feedback.  They send me their usual blurb that they try to weed out this type of thing.  First of all, if you are a dating website, you should clearly have better filters for security.  Too many scammers on this site.  I decide to cancel, said I'll pay for one month.  No, now I'm being told it's non-refundable!!  Are you serious?  That is not what was advertised.  Go online, which I should have done from the beginning.  Scammers, bad complaints, tons of them.  This should not be allowed.  I can't afford to be ripped off for $119.95 when I definitely did not agree to that.  Customer service is rude.  You get people that barely speak English and just dont' care.  Asked to speak to a supervisor and was told she was "on break".  I just hung up at that point.  Went on the website and they cancelled my membership and my profile is still on there.  Now I can't even delete that, so my personal information is "out there".  Web chat comes up and the little creaton was basically telling me "I misunderstood the membership terms" and too bad.  This should not be allowed, especially when I'm not the only one.  This is clearly false advertisement.  How do we can our money back??  Why is this allowed??
