I had an issue with my washing machine on Thursday, Aug 29, 2013. 

Over the weekend I remember that I still had a home repair warranty and the following business day I contacted Sensible Home Warranty (SHW) to file a claim for the washing machine.  This was on Tuesday, September 3rd. 

On Wednesday, September 4th I received a call from someone named "Ron" and he said he was contacting me on behalf of my claim that I filled with (SHW).  We spoke briefly regarding the issue and he told me he wouldn't be able to come to my home until Saturday, September 7th.  He told me he would give me a call on Friday to confirm a time.  I said this was fine and we ended our call. 

On Friday I hadn't receive a call so around 3:30p I called the tech at 678-667-2035 and was unable to speak to him so I left a message.  At about 5:45p I called again and this time I spoke to him and reminded him of our previous conversation that we had on Wednesday and that he said he would come to my home on Saturday to work on the washing machine.  This time I was told that he would contact me Saturday morning to firm up a time.  I said this was fine and we ended the call. 

On Saturday I never received a call from the tech.  I called him around Noon and left a message.  Later that day I contacted the claims department at (SHW) and I explained what had happened to date.  

On September 12, 2013 GE Appliances came to my home and provided an estimate for repairs which totaled $1,619.77.  I was told by (SHW) to send in my receipt from GE and we would go from there to determine the next steps. 

On Friday Sept 13, 2013 A rep from (SHW)contacted me and said they would pay $850 dollars.  (My policy has a max payout of $1,500). 

As of today - February 4, 2014 I haven't received anything from (SHW).  I have called them dozens of times, emailed them, etc. 

No one calls back and when I call on the phone I keep getting the same response that I'll get an update soon.

On December 17, 2013 I did receive an email from Angela Torres at (SHW) which said: "I do apologize about the delay regarding your reimbursement check. I see that a payment has been generated and is being mailed shortly. I will get back with you as soon as I have a date as to when your check is being released."

It's been (7) weeks since that email and I still haven't received anything and I can't get in touch with Angela Torres.  I've emailed:  underwriting@sensiblehomewarranty.com several times and again no one responds.  

I've also called them at 866-959-2212 x206 and no one ever calls back.
