I purchased a Cooks Griddle from JC Penny which was eligible for a $10 Rebate and quickly submitted the required rebate form, receipt, and barcoded label to Sensio which was the processor for this rebate. One month later I received a form letter from them stating that they couldn't process my request because I failed to submit the barcoded label !

I immediately responded  to  the designated fax advising that this was not true and included a copy of my rebate form clearly showing where the barcoded label was attached. I subsequently received another  form letter response saying that since I had failed to respond to their request--again, not true--they would stop all processing.

I tried to call Sensio at the Customer Service phone # they listed on the form letter (877-217-4421) but was told by them that they are only processors for Sensio and couldn't do anything, that I would have to contact Sensio directly ! They couldn't however give me a contact #, "you have to Google it yourself". As unbelievable as this is, if you google Sensio, you can only come up with the same contact # (877-217-4421) that only reaches the processor who can't be of any assistance !

This level of duplicity can't be accidental, this is an obvious systematic effort to frustrate the consumer. Shame on Sensio and shame on JC Penny for using them!
