Negative SEO Email Hoaxes

#2Consumer Comment

Wed, December 05, 2018

It's pretty apparent that negative SEO "threat" emails have been a thing for quite some time now, and even a cursory search will show that Fiverr sellers being targetted is not new.  At this point, there is only a general consensus as to "why" this is happening, and that consensus is that lower-ranked sellers are using underhanded means in an attempt to knock off the higher-ranking sellers.  Forwarding any emails received in this manner to tne appropriate support channels, including the actual email it was sent from (in the "From" or "Sender" field, depending on how you access your email) is the best means to ensure this matter is resolved as swiftly as possible.
