Complaint Review: serenity horse rescue

Saw Questionable Activity-
         Dozens of personal checks written to shr or sw for payment, (back dated 6months) left lying around barn office and home
         No board of directors
         Minimal Feeding regimens
         Weak hungry horses, no rehabilitation
         Minimal Hay
         President pleading for money
         Un-usually high number of horses and other animals on little acreage.
         No quarantine for new arrivals
         Minimal Vet/farrier appearances
         Very little volunteer help available.
         President resistant to constructive criticism
         President combative and intolerant
         President earning income on riding lessons.
         Volunteers left tending to horses down, during presidents absence.
         Questionable causes of death for horses.

         Unusually high adoption fees
         Failed adoptions
         Services rendered- unpaid for

Investigations:
ODA- investigation based on hearsay, no warrant to search the property, request docs.
Police Department- Numerous complaints
IRS- still waiting
Atty General
Fire Department- several complaints
Un-usually high number of dying horses
 
Rescue Evicted left two horses
New location un-disclosed
No information about rescue efforts being made public.
Is currently refusing calls to help.
