Serra Toyota Auto repair ripoff Birmingham Alabama
My son took the truck to the dealer for the 45000 mile service. They showed him a pamphlet and implied the recommended service included such things as top engine cleaning, brake system purge, and power steering purge. He unfortunately believed them and by the time he called me, the service department managed to fleece a grand total of $344.61. When I called another Toyota dealer in the area, I was told the recommended service would total about $55.00. Don't fall for this.

THAT YOUR SON FELL FOR ALL THEIR LIES!
Toyota dealers are obviously feeling the 'PINCH' in these economic times, and most of them will try to make as much money as they can on UNSUSPECTING customers who go into their Service departments because the 'Sales' of Toyota vehicles is WAY DOWN!
URGENT ALERT: You DO NOT have to take your Toyota vehicle to a Toyota dealer for service!
Find a mechanic in your town who specializes in foreign auto repair, such as Japanese models like Toyota, Nissan, & Honda. Go into the shop & talk to the owner & ask him or her what their LABOR charge per hour is. Then let him or her know that you're NOT HAPPY with the Toyota dealership, & you'd like to have your Toyota serviced with them in the future.
NO ONE REALLY NEEDS to have their Toyota serviced at a Toyota dealership, unless it's a warranty related service, correct? You can also BUY your Toyota parts online! Simply 'Google' this- TOYOTA PARTS, and sites should appear where you can buy your PARTS!
Thank you.
