Servicecenter Construction & Landscaping Donn Walck Scamming seniors in poor health by taking cash for lawn service and not showing up or refunding Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Company representative quoted fee of $20 every 2 wks to cut lawn, but $35 for first cut since grass was long and would require 2 passes. Rep was told homeowner was a cardiac patient and could not do mowing himself. Rep was paid the required $75 cash with contract.
Rep mowed lawn once and promised to return 3 days later, for second initial mow. Did not show. When called, claimed car problems and promised to return in 2 days. Did not show again. Homeowner called, advising he needed someone dependable, told Rep to keep $20 and refund $55 in money order. No response to call, nor refund.
Homeowner now wants full refund of $75 and to warn other seniors of company's fraudulent practices.
