I ordered a magazine from a door to door sales person in Feb. 2003. She told me she was working toward a trip to Cancun or something and I ordered 1 magazine to help her out.

When she left, I realized that she had written Maximum instead of Maxim and I didn't want to get a computer mag so I sent back the receipt along with the request for a refund. Well, the check I wrote her was cashed and I got a letter from Services Unlimited Plus saying they needed a copy of the paid check and they would send me my refund.

I sent (Certified mail) the copy of the paid check along with another request for a refund. I never heard anything after that.

In Aug. I found this website along with a phone number for the company. I called on Aug. 4th and I spoke with Velda. She said there was no request for my refund in the computer but she would enter it and I should get the money in a matter of weeks.

On Sept 16th, I called again and spoke with the same person. She said they were waiting for the company to send the checks to them but since they(SUP) are on the road now, she had no idea when they would come in with the money.

So, that's my story. I'm only out 34 bucks but the fact that they just ignore the requests for refunds from other customers really makes me mad. I hope something gets done about this.
