Seth Chase Sold me a fake trail horse Tatum NM
Bought horse that was advertised as Missouri Foxtrotter. It was in fact, some kind of walker/Paso Cross. It arrived with a roaring case of shipping fever. Rode twice in arena and he was supposed to have been used on his string for hunters coming into camp that had no clue about riding.
This horse had to have bit contact and did have a great gait. But way too fast to have been on a string with green riders. I ended up selling him and told the buyers I had only ridden him twice in the arena and I told them he had not been proven on trails as far as I was concerned, but told them what was told to me. "He will not hurt you”. were Mr. Chases’ words.
The person that bought him from me said she could not get on him, he was bucking and basically unmanageable. I felt badly for this person I had sold him to because I was going on the word of Mr. Chase. He did not represent this horse honestly. I tried to contact him with no response. He is still selling on EquineNow and most of what he is selling is not what he represents.
Beware! I paid 5000.00 for horse and shipping and sold him for 3000.00 so I was out 2000.00 and the other person is now out 3000.00. Shame on you, Mr. Chase.

A horse that is NOT safely broke, but is represented as such is on the seller. Many good horses are bought and sold on the Internet. The seller lied about the horse. That, too is on the seller. I even tried to cancel the sale within a couple of hours and was flat out denied that request. Red Flag!!
So you think it is ok to misrepresent a horse?? I am 67 and have had at least 8 horses and have never been shafted like this. Thank You—- this is not a forum to get your opinion. It is a warning for others dealing with this seller. I wish I had seen these rip off reports—- I could have saved myself some trouble.

You bought a horse without trying him out and sight unseen and you are blaming the seller?? This one is on you! I have never, EVER bought a horse without riding and working with the horse. Therefore blaming the seller is ridiculous. And I have been riding horses for 50+ years as well as working with them.
