In Late January or beginning of February of 2006 I purchased a tankless water heater at Sets Systems Inc. I personally went to their site of business and inquire about the different type of tankless water heater. I was giving the information needed and was advised to purchased a model big enough for my house with 4 bathroom.

I purchased the unit on a cash basis, and filled out my warranty card right there. I have been very happy until this February of 2007. I noticed that the water was not hot but luke warm. On 2/20/07 at 9:00am I called the office them I called back around 10:00am because no one answered the first time. A lady took my information and I was told that a technician would be calling me within the hour. I had to call back around 3:00pm and that's when I was told that I was not in their computer and I needed to purchase a new unit since I did not have proof of purchased. I have e-mailed/called the office and no help.

Now, I am being threatened that they are going to take me to court on harassment charges. I have proof of e-mail received from the owner of this company. I am getting ready to install a new water heater, of course not from this company. I would like to warn other consumers about their fraudulent business practices. March 2007.

Let this jerk take you to court for harassment.

He will have to stand in front of a judge and swear under oath that he has no business relationship with you.

You get to cross-examine him and present evidence that you purchased his product. Even if you do not have a receipt you have a manufacturer's name, model number, and serial number. How is he going to explain that? You can subpoena the manufacturer's records to prove that it came from his business.

Then the judge throws the moron in the clink for perjury and orders his company to make the repairs to your water heater.

This could be the best thing that could happen to you, but chances are pretty good that he will never file any sort of charges against you because he knows that his lies are too easy to disprove.
