Seven Corners, Inc. Seven Corners stole 4,000 from me Carmel Indiana
My 15 year old son School was doing educational tour through EF Tours. I signed him up for this trip and paid for this trip which was a total of about $4,000. I later get a call from EF Tours representative was trying to sell me their insurance which was $455 he explained to me that this insurance will cover a sickness while on a trip any cancellations with flights or delays login lost being lost cancellations due to job loss and forcing job loss death sickness and stuff like that all the way up until the day of departure I was told. So I ended up losing my job or being laid off from my job due to work being slow and seniority on April 26th I had paid in purchased their insurance in amount of $155 on April 24th 2017. I had lost my job on April 26th 2017 I had to get on unemployment at after taxes I was only receiving $73 a week I tried my best to continue on with this trip because it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for my son but I couldn't it more money was coming up hundred dollars tipping fee $70 to do this during your free time $60 to do that during their free time and I hadn't got his luggage about his luggage or purchased him in clothes and Necessities that you need to for the trip and I couldn't afford it so I called the teacher first or emailed the teacher first over that was over the trip then I contact an EF Tours my first conversation with them the guy had told me that I would lose the $95 non-refundable deposit and a hundred course $155 I paid for the insurance and he emailed me the paperwork to where I can file my claim and said I need a letterhead from my company with my start date and end date and my reasoning for not working anymore and so I submitted my claim and stuff and then the on the day of departure I get an email from Seven Corners stating that my claim was denied that my insurance was purchased on the 24th and my lost my job on the 26th that I did not fall in the 30-day criteria so I called EF Tours Sandy was her name hold up the case was talking to me and she couldn't even make sense of it she said from what she can see and understand I did for him within the criteria so she asked if she can call me back I suggest mind you my father-in-law is also sick and in Central Baptist in Lexington Kentucky and I see you right now with congestive heart failure so when Sandy calls back she said that she was sorry to inform me but unfortunately you know I wouldn't be refunding my money because I didn't fall within the criteria and then she went on to say you know you also said that your father-in-law was sick so if he falls if he got hospitalized within April 24th and June 26th 2017 that I can file a new claim and that the doctor would have to stay that Donovan would have to not be able to go on this flight and would have to be there to see his Papillon guest and Hanks the dance or something so I told her I said what I'm not understanding if that falls Within the dates that you gave me how come my job loss and forcing job loss is not covered when it fell in between the dates that she gave me which was April 24th 2017 to June 26th 2017 her exact words was to me was oh what it's worth of different and she could no longer help me so they got a very very small window and where you can do cancellations which I was not aware up because the guy that sold me the insurance told me that this insurance will cover all the way up to the departure my name day of departure on cancellations and that it would cover until he returned home from his trip as far as sickness is luggages and everything exedra $4,000 is a lot of money to lose for this company just keep it when I did fall in between the criteria unfortunately my father-in-law had a stroke and feel sick and everything on June 29th three days after the end date so...
