Complaint Review: Seven One Six (716) Services

SEVEN ONE SIX SERVICES is a SCAM!!! BEWARE of this company! Offers magazines for free and the only thing they ask is for you to pass them on when finished. The next call was someone telling me that I have to pay $26.00 a month for 36 months, even though the first call said they were FREE. Needless to say half the magazines I opted for still till this day have not been sent to me. I am only getting 4 of the magazines I opted for from this company. They are not magazine distributors, they are magazine telemarketers. I have refused to pay for the magazines because I am not recieving them all. I have been told I cannot cancel the order because they order the magazines from actual companies to have them sent to us. If I wanted to PAY for the magazines that were told to me to be FREE then I would of subscribed to them myself through the actual company instead of dealing with a telemarketing company that threatens legal action, jail, heavy fines and court costs. As of right now they say I owe $598, which I would NEVER EVER pay that much for magazines!!!! I would of waited till the local towns highschool students came around selling them for fundraisers, atleast it would of went to a good cause instead of a SCAM by dishonest people. I have not spoken with this company since they have threatened legal action because rule of thumb, when someone threatens legal action then all forms of communication with me are shut off til I am able to obtain legal council. I refuse to talk with and give information to someone who says they are a lawyer for this company without legal protection! PLEASE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY OFFER FROM THIS COMPANY! FROM OTHER REPORTS I HAVE READ IT SEEMS THEY LIKE TO PREY ON PEOPLE WHO ARE IN FINANCIAL DISTRESS AND THEN BULLY THEM INTO PAYING A LOT OF MONEY!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, JUST HANG UP WHEN YOU HEAR THE WORDS "This is Seven One Six"!!!!!
