Complaint Review: Sewingstyle.com Sewingsolutions.com

I ordered a Bernina foot controller (part #0049307001) and paid $99.99 with my credit card on June 10, 2008. When the item did not arrive by June 25th I emailed info@sewingstyle.com for a status update. No response. I sent another email (more forceful) on July 1st and heard back from a "Jacob" on July 2nd indicating that he had notified the shipping department and that my order was to be shipped that day with a tracking number. No email or tracking number was ever generated.

Additional emails from me have gone unanswered, as well as, two voicemail messages left on the usually "memory full" answering machine at the 1-866-851-9167. FYI - when looking at several other Google search hits for sewing supplies I discovered that Sewingmachinesolutions.com had the exact same toll free number (1-866-851-9167). When I tried that site's email (info/sewingmachinesolutions.com) I got an instant "recipient failed permanently" message from the Mail Delivery Subsystem. This same message was generated when I tried orders@sewingstyle.com.

I think Google needs to be aware of this scam web site(s), since both names have appeared under the "sponsored links" section of page one of the Google search results. And this site and its perpetrators need to be closed down and prosecuted.

Has anyone had difficulties with this site prior to 2008?
