Complaint Review: Shane Bullis Bullseye Roofing and Remodeling

Shane Bullis Bullseye Roofing and Remodeling Bullseye Builders Shane Bullis Does Not Pay Subcontractors and Customers Get Liens Filed On Their Homes Wisconsin

All of the work was completed and the customers were completely happy-not a singlecomplaint. When I refused to do any more work because he owed me so much money and hadn't paid as promised, his entire demeanor changed. I became a "fukn loser", "an a$$hole", and was told to ""get bent ***" because I wanted to get paid for the work I did. He has also just been sued by someone in Madison for the same thing.

What is unfair to the customers is that I will be filing a lien on their properties to ensure I get paid for the work I did. They may have to pay for the work twice. And to add insult to injury, he BUYS an A rating from the Better Business Bureau. An employee can't file a complaint with the BBB, or a subcontractor.  Don't let this happen to anyone else.

St. Francis Wi police Department has original police reports and Milwaukee DA Dave Feiss issued him an ultimatum to pay or be charged with theft by contractor.  His customomers were completely happy with all work provided by me- and so was he- to the point he advertised and took credit for the work on Facebook!

What more needs to be said.

Here is more if you are a skeptic:

We hired Bullseye to put siding on our house. As few of our neighbors did. We were unaware that Shane Bullis of Bullseye Roofing & Remodeling LLC had hired a subcontractor. The contract that we signed made no mention and the agreement was between Bullseye and my husband and I. The subcontractor Jim Schiller of Liberty Craft and Home Improvement based out of West Bend. Mr Schiller notified of intentions to put a lien on our house, and since has. We went to Mr Bullis immediately when we where notified of Mr Schiller's plans. We asked for help getting this resolved. The whole time Mr Bullis and his attorney Angela Dean of Lakeside Law Offices swore they would resolve the this issue, asking us to wait. We were promised that Mr Schiller has  has never put a lien on a property.

We were told that if he did put a lien Ms Dean would be down at the courthouse the next day to get the liens dismissed. That did not happen. A lien was placed on our house and I am now being told by Ms Dean and Mr Bullis to wait until Mr Schiller files to foreclose on the lien. I would like this blackmail nightmare to be over. We should not be placed under this distress because of Mr. Bullis and Mr. Schiller's fight over $6,000. One of our neighbor’s can not even get over his case of the shingles as he has been so worried over this.

I would like Mr. Bullis to live up to his words and protect us and resolve this matter. I would like the liens to be fought or removed. Mr. Bullis should honor his word and resolve this before a foreclosure is filed.

Another "well treated contractor" of Shane writes the following:

Shane Bullis was friendly and approachable when he came to us asking if we'd like to sub a roofing job from him. We have been in the business for 18 yrs, and gladly accepted the job in December of 2011. We completed the job to the full satisfaction of the homeowner, city inspector, and Mr. Bullis himself. Since then we have NOT been paid for the work, and we were also issued 2 checks that bounced. A couple monthslater, Mr. Bullis' company landed a large roofing job for a church located in the town we live in, and as of this posting (April 2012), the shingles are already bubbling out in MANY areas especially on the north side. If he'd ever paid us, we'd have taken on that job also, and it'd have been done RIGHT. We are about to file legal action against this company. This is a "contractor" that makes the honest ones look bad.

There is more, but you decide..........

This is a false accusation made by a former sub-contractor who was fired for poor craftsmanship. This sub was indeed paid in full and have legal documentation supporting this. We are a very reputable company with a very happy customer base. This guy is currently has tax warrants out on him as well as his previous business names.
