Shannon Kringen is a Seattle internet porn model, former stripper, amateur cable access personality, nude model for local art colleges, and former employee of a "massage" facility that was raided for illegal prostitution. She portrays herself as an impverished "artist" on LiveJournal, deviantart and other forums. She receives money, gifts and airline miles from sympathetic readers. She does not notify her food stamp social workers, student aid athorities or IRS of this impressive income.
Seattle cable viewers may recall Kringen's public access show, Goddess Kring, in which she showed half-hour closeups of her genitals, and even removed a used tampon on camera. Kringen promotes herself as a benevolent personality who believes in artistic freedom. She decries "censorship" when she is warned by internet groups to stop spamming her self-promotional material. Alas, the real Kringen is quite different from her image.
"KannonShrigen" was a satire LiveJournal character active from 2005 to early 2010, and was written by a fellow artist. Although Shannon Kringen constantly promotes freedom of speech, she recurrently appealed to LJ moderators for nearly five years to censor the Kannon blog on the basis of harassment, but was unsuccessful as the blog's humorous content did not qualify as harassment by their terms of service. Ever tenacious, Kringen complained about the journal in 2010 on the basis of "impersonation" and finally the Kannon blog was censored by LJ moderators.
Shannon Kringen was arrested and charged with felony stalking and harassment of a female artist in 2008 (King County Superior Court case number 08-2-01357-0).
It's unknown whether the local art colleges and instructors that hired Kringen to model were aware of these issues. Hopefully, now they will be.

1) I've never met and don't know Shannon Kringen personally. I only know of her as sort of a local celebrity of sorts. She's got... an eccentric personality. 2) This site is about consumers being ripped off/cheated/poor customer service. That's my understanding. The above complaint cites no act of consumerism whereby Shannon Kringen deprived or cheated the person of any product or service in exchange for money or anything else. What did she "sell" you that you're unhappy with? 3) Furthermore, I checked the court records. The case number is correct, however, it doesn't support the claim that she was arrested or charged with any crime. The docket states that someone filed for a restraining order against her but that the case was dismissed after 2 weeks and a hearing. 4) For classification purposes, all criminal cases in Seattle contain the same specific number just like all civil cases do. There is no criminal case associated with this woman. 5) My best guess would be that this complaint was made the woman who filed for the restraining order, Kathleen O'Brien. Her case against Shannon was dismissed for lack of evidence. Did you lose a modeling gig to her? I'm not sure what the complaint is about. 6) Like I said, don't know the woman. Saw an old YouTube video and Googled her to see what became of her and this report came up. I'm not sure why Shannon hasn't defended herself here especially when the complaint states she's so "tenacious."
