In my experience, almost all sellers of Sharp AN-K12LP Lamp BQC-XVZ100005 XV-Z12000 (ank12lp) projector lamps are selling 'copies', (fakes) of the original Sharp Projector Lamp.  Many of these 'sellers' use tricks to make you think it is an actual Sharp OEM (original equipment manufacturer) lamp.  I had ordered from one reputable company that stated their bulb was OEM.  It was NOT!  After I opened the package and discovered the fake lamp, I went and tried it out any way as I hoped it would work.  I turned it on for 1 hour and turned off the projector.  Upon cooling the lamp exploded.  I had long conversations with the company's president and warned him about the false advertising.  He reacted professionally and sent my money back.

But since then I see almost all sellers offering 'fake' lamps.  Prices any where from $120 to $512.  Make sure you use a credit card with a warranty program and a fraud program.  Make sure you get an email response from the seller about the Lamp they are offering and make sure you get at least a one year warranty.  Many of these lamps will work for a couple of hundred hours and will then fail.  Oooops.... your warranty has not run out!  I don't have any suppliers that I can suggest to you.  Almost all are selling 'copies' of the original.  One outfit from Japan will not warranty until you send back the bad lamp for their 'inspection'.  Haha.... if you send the lamp back to them you have then given away your evidense that may have proven the lamp was a FAKE!   Be careful.... and read all of the warranty and get an email response stating everything in detail !
