Complaint Review: Sharper*Tone Eye Sweum

I ordered Sharper*Tone eye serum and skin cream for free to pay shipping only.  Later I was charged $89.77 and 98.71 through my checking account.  I called the company and was told I had 14 days to cancel.  Nothing was said about these charges in the free amounts.  I was told I had to pay the amounts.  I called again and said I wanted to return the products, that I had not used them and they were too expensive.  I was told that being that expensive should show me how good the product was.  I told them I just wanted to return the products and to get my money back.  I was told they didn't work that way and they could send me a free bottle of their product.  Told her no, that trying to get something for free was what got me in this mess. She said she was sorry but there was nothing she could do other than offer me half price on future shipments.

This is a total ripoff company. Buyers beware.
