Shasta Regional Medical Center proudly displays a misleading ranking as a Top 100 Hospital. read these two articles and decide for yourself. SRMC is owned and operated by Prime Health Care the company implicated in both articles.

This article from June, 2014 highlights the fact that Dr. Ed Hernandez, chair of the California Senate Committee on Health, and Dr. Richard Pan, chair of the Assembly Committee on Health wrote letters to Truven asking that Shasta Regional Medical Center be removed from the top 100 hospitals list.
